studying at the Toulouse School of Fine Arts, Pierre-Jean Larroque
pursued his studies in theatre education at the ENSATT in Paris (
National Superior Institute of Performing Arts and Techniques ).
He began his cinema career as assistant to Franca Squarciapino (Cyrano de Bergerac - Jean-Paul Rappeneau; Louis, enfant roi - Roger Planchon) and in theatre with Dominique Borg (The blue Bird - Alfredo Arias).
He has worked as a Costume Designer since 1991, in cinema particularly with Emmanuel Mouret (Mademoiselle de Jonquières), Xavier
Giannoli (Marguerite), Laurent Tirard (Return of the Hero, Little Nicholas, Asterix and Obelix on Her Majesty's Secret Service, Moliere...) Jean-Paul Salomé (Adventures of Arsene Lupin), Eric Rohmer
(The Winter's Tale, the Lady and the Duke,...), Roger Planchon (Lautrec),
Pierre-Jean Larroque also created the costumes of famous TV series, such as Napoleon (directed by Yves Simoneau), and D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers (Pierre Aknine).
